The Rarest of All 78 RPM Records-Black Patti

The Rarest of All 78 RPM Records-Black Patti

1927 Black Patti label featuring Hightower’s Night Hawks performing “Boar Hog Blues”. An extremely rare record posted by Mark Berresford of Mark Berresford Rare Records. Mark says this is definitely not for sale. Isn’t it a beauty? Thanks to Roger Wade of Really Old Records for posting this on his Facebook Page.

  1. Sounds better than that clown who claimed Campbell and Burr’s rendition of “Just Before the Battle Mother,” Okeh 1007, was the “world’s rarest record” several years ago

Thanks for something much more substantial.

  2. Once owned a copy and sold it to Kurt Nauck to make a downpayment on another car. Quite the find.
